add /usr/local/lib to the library search path (LD_LIBRARY_PATH,
the crle tool, or compile using 'gcc -Wl,-rpath,/usr/local/lib')
Or just use the --with-included-popt configure option to Samba
and forget about the one in /usr/local/lib.
