Well, there's no nscd stuff in my system. :/
And it used to work without nscd.

Yes. I restarted my computer. And after that, I couldn't use it (squid
+ auth) anymore.

If that all seems too much, have you tried restarting the computer, cos that unsuprisingly also restarts nscd ;-)
