Hello everyone, I have a Windows Server 2003 box and a RedHat 9.0 box.
I installed the RH9 rpm, samba-3.0.0-1.i386.rpm

Whenever I try and run this command;

mount -t smbfs //machine/share /root/smb_mnt -o
username=administrator,password=mypass

I get this error;

cli_negprot: SMB signing is mandatory and we have disabled it.
26595: protocol negotiation failed
SMB connection failed

I have tried everything and I can't seem to get a single Windows share
to mount.

I can login and connect to share via;

smbclient //dh1/lance -UAdministrator

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Cheers,
