[Samba] Soloris 2.6, ClearCase 4.2, Samba ?

Hello,
We are looking to install Samba (not sure what version), our purpose is to
implement our Rational ClearCase 4.2 UNIX environment into a UNIX/NT
environment, running with Solaris 2.6.

Rational Documentation indicates they do not support Solaris 2.6 running
with Samba, we would need to upgrade to Solaris 2.8 for them to support our
interop environment, which is not in the works right now.  I'm looking for
any past experiences in regards to running specific versions of Samba on
Solaris 2.6, with ClearCase 4.2 for UNIX.  We want to know what our best
options are, what version of Samba should we use?  Thanks for any help,
please let me know if you need any additional information...
