[Samba] Transportability of Samba in UNIX - AIX

Hello

	Currently I have Samba running on one AIX machine. Rather then go
through the install process again, I do not have a 'C' compiler on this new
machine, can I tar the /usr/local/samba directory and place it on the new
machine? The AIX releases are the same and the ML is the same.
