[Samba] NT files to Linux/Apache web server

No, you do not need to recompile your kernel to support NTFS. The 
kernel must support smbfs!
Take care about the file permissions.

I would do it the other way round:
Put the images on the disk of the linux apache server and share the 
htdocs directory with samba to the NT-PC's auf the web authors. 
That's probably more relaiable and faster.
