[Samba] Access Denied for printer status

  I have just set up a server w/RH 7.2 and my Samba installation is *mostly* working.  I am sharing files OK and printing but when a Windoze 2000 client tries to get printer status (the printers control panel info) it displays the message


"Access Denied, Unable to connect!"

The same client can browse to, and print to, the printers in question.

I can "lpq -S <name> -P <name>" from Cygwin, so I assume that the problem is in Samba and not in the underlying printer support.

My configuration is:

samba is v2.2.1a
printcap is used for printer defs
LPRng-3.7.4
Kernel 2.4.7-10

Any help greatly appreciated!
