[Samba] WINS Replication

Hi,
We have 2 offices linked with a slow (64kb/s) link. They each have a 
samba server and a NT 4 DC. The NT servers also handle all the printing 
and domain logons. The samba servers are mostly just file servers.

Site 1: The samba server handles WINS for everyone
Site 2: The NT server is not on the LAN (on a different subnet)

We had a situation last week where the link between the two sites went 
down and no domain logons and printing were available on site 2, because 
the NT server is on a different subnet, and the WINS server could not be 
reached.

So, is there a way to replicate the WINS database between the two sites 
and configure the WINS server on site 2 as a backup?
