[Samba] Samba as PDC with Win2k/XP clients

I have a server running Samba 2.2.1a, which I'm trying to use as a PDC for
a small LAN with Windows 2000 Pro and Windows XP Pro clients. The main
problem I have is that users sometimes get this error when attempting to
logon:

`Windows cannot copy file
\\mars\meadens\profile\My Documents\My Webs\_vti_pvt\services.cnf to
location C:\Documents and Settings\meadens.GALAXY\My Documents\My
Webs\_vti_pvt\services.cnf. Contact your network administrator.

DETAIL - Access is denied.'

This happens on several accounts, but not necessarily all workstations.
There are no permissions problems that I can see, as when the user is
logged in (with a temporary profile), they can copy the specified file to
the
correct destination. If I remove/rename the specified file, I will get the
same error but with another file specified.

Our network was previously all peer-to-peer, but I thought it would be a
good idea to simplify things so that all users were not restricted to
their
own PCs, but this doesn't seem to be the case!

I have enabled the option "nt acl support = no" in smb.conf, but this
doesn't seem to fix things much. I have several different versions of
Win2k clients - some are plain Win2k, some SP1, and some are SP2. Any
ideas on fixing this?

TIA,
Alex.
