Apparently even outlook can filter on random headers. This list server
places a few very filterable headers in each mail. There was an example on
how to do this in outlook (or maybe it was OE) if you look in the
archives of the past few days.


The thing that is wrong with [samba] in the subject is mostly the cases
where it is added multiple times. Why? don't know but the following is
incredibly ugly:

Re: [Samba] RE: [Samba]smb.conf and

(probably caused by the space-change). All the lists I have been on that
do this subject-mangling get these type of posts regularly.

FWIW, I mostly skip posts that have subjects that don't mean anything to
me. The one above would not be read. Adding the tag to the end of the
subject line would improve things a lot.
