[Samba] Problem !! Quick Hint Please

Hello samba team,

I am a student in FAU, Boca Raton , FL. I was trying to install the samba 
server but unluckily i cannot install samba server on the /usr/local/samba 
directory. as a matter of fact i cannot to the usr/local directory of my 
Server.I want to install samba in some other directory , please tell me how 
is that possible. and if that is possible. I cannot find any possible 
documentation on that topic. Please let me as soon as possible.
