get into a domain from different networks

Hi,

here is the thing, i have a samba server on the network 193.48.129
and i need to connect a windows nt client which is located on the network
193.48.132
i have done everything that would make it work for me :
add the ip in the smb.conf in the allow host section
add an account for the nt client
add the ips of the opposite in each hosts file
use the lmhosts file for the nt client
I am able to connect shared ressources from the client. The only thing i
cannot do is get into the domain because it says it cannot find the domain
master.

Anyone on that??
