[Samba] connection refused message

You might want to check ipchains/iptables to make sure you have given access
to ports:

-A input -s 0/0 -d 0/0 139 -p tcp -y -j ACCEPT
-A input -s 0/0 -d 0/0 139 -p udp -j ACCEPT
-A input -s 0/0 -d 0/0 445 -p tcp -y -j ACCEPT

You could be more restrictive, of course, to what can gain access to these
ports...

Subject: [Samba] connection refused message

Hello All,

I have my Samba working and my windows machine can mount my Linux
drives via Samba.

the problem that I am getting is that I tried to use sbmclient -L
tarus from my gemini Linux machine and am getting a connection
refused message.

does some one know how this can be fixed?

cheers,
Lonnie
