[Samba] Is samba share access secure/encrypted?

When a user accesses the samba share, is the moving/copying of files and
whatever else the user does with files on the share encrypted in any way?
Do you have to enable the --with-ssl support and its options to get this?
If you do need to use the ssl support to gain secure, encrypted access to
the share files, is there a description you can point me out on how to set
up the use of ssl to make access the share data secure?
