Hi Everyone,

I am new to Samba. I have read Email list and read some documents. I
could not find the answer to my problem. Can you help me with it? I
install Samba2.2 in IRIX 6.5 SGI workstation. In smb.conf,
if I configure it to a existed windows NT domain. I can see the SGI
workstation. Since the lab where I work with does not want to join the
big NT domain, I put all the workstations to a workgroup called TEST. We
have WIN2k, Win NT, win95 workstation combinations. I configure SGI to
this TEST workgroup. SGI workstation does not show up in the workgroup
or any other place in the Network Neighbourhood. I can ping host name, I
can use net use to map the share to Windows clients. But Samba server
does not show up in the browse list. I have tried to configure it as a
local browse master without any success. Any suggestions would be
greatly appreciated.
Thank you very much for your attention and help!

Christy
