[Samba] search in ldap

Hello all.

is there some on in the void with ldap+samba experience ??
in brief:
it works for me with NSS and PAM but trying
smbclient -L server -U user
samba connects to my ldapserver but
search only for :
Logs:
(&(objectClass=posixAccount)(uid=guest))
(&(uid=guest)(objectClass=sambaAccount))

instead of looking for uid=user !!
this ends up in :session setup failed: NT_STATUS_LOGON_FAILURE
