[Samba] Windows XP - Samba Problem

Can you please explain where in documentation or a link to a website, something where I can learn how to get WinXP to not have to manually enter user/pass all the time when its user/pass is the same as the Samba server's and Win2k machines work.

I am sure there is an explanation, but I cannot find one. Does Windows XP not support Samba now? Any articles on this subject would be great. Thank You.
