[Samba] Problems installing Samba

In /etc/pam.d ?? Than that's not a script, but a pam configuration 
file. It will not start samba, it can't be run at all!

What samba script are you looking for? The start/stop skript? Have a 
look in /etc/rc.d/init.d, look for samba or smb or smbd.
