[Samba] Samba on Solaris/Intel

I'm putting up a environment tha will have Linux, Win98/NT/2k
and a Intel-based solaris system.
my question is: does samba run in Solaris/Intel platform?!
I intend in putting samba as a PDC in this environment.
will that be possible? Or must I run it on the Linux machine ( still
deciding if it will be Slackware or Conectiva)
