: Logon to th network goes fine system already a member of the domain but
: the problem is
: when a user logs off it cant' write it's profile to the network.
:
: I made an directory profile. it starts to copy and then de message is
: share is no longer available. (it takes to long i suppose?.)
:
: Does anyone know what the problem is?.

I had the same problem here. The reason was a mismatch in
network speed and duplex mode settings on manageable HUBs.
Check all our network hardware (switches/routers/network-cards).

Try to connect server and client to the same hub,
check the settings off the NICs. Try 10mBit/halfduplex first,
disable autodetect/autonegotiation - this may not work with
some combinations of hardware.
I do not think this is a samba problem.

Hope this helps - good luck.
Martin
