Locking error - Samba 2.2.2

This is a new one for me. Has anyone else encountered this?
Linux 2.4.12-ac3+preempt with Samba 2.2.2
I saw this error when I tried "cutting and pasting" a pair of directories
between two shares on the same machine from a Windows 2000 client PC.
/var/log/samba/log.smbd
[2001/10/20 23:51:06, 0] locking/locking.c:delete_fn(252)
  locking : delete_fn. LOGIC ERROR ! Entry for pid 969 and it no longer
exists !

I'm not subscribed to the Samba list. (Linux-Kernel keeps my inbox full as
it is..), so please CC me on any replies.
