Hello List, i have the Problem, that when i'm trying to copy files from win98SE with long Filenames to the Linux(Debian)/Samba-Server the Server cuts my Filenames to the 8.3 Format. I have thist settings in the smb.conf: ; Name mangling options preserve case = yes short preserve case = yes Ist there anybody who can give me an advice for my problem? Thanks Peter
