Japanese filename problem

to install kterm(fully compatible with xterm) and some Japanese fonts,
which you can get Red Hat Linux 7.1J.

But it is difficult to work correctly without Japanese knowledge.

If you need to support only both English and Japanese,
I recommend to install Red Hat Linux 7.1J(you can get it from 
  ftp://ftp.redhat.com or some other way).

setting locale to C, you can use it as English version and turning
locale to ja_JP.eucJP, you can display Japanese on your desktop.

I do not know what you need to do, but anyway you need some Japanese
skills to treat them as "language" instead of byte-stream only.
