the deb files are compiled with --with-fhs --prefix=/usr --sysconfdir=/etc
--with-privatedir=/etc/samba --with-lockdir=/var/state/samba
--localstatedir=/var --with-netatalk --with-smbmount --with-pam 
--with-syslog --with-sambabook --with-utmp --with-readline 
--with-pam_smbpass

i think u have to add --with-acl-support to enable acl

p.s.: thx eloy for his deb files and the samba team for samba.
would it be possible to include eloys debian directory into the samba cvs
so people could make their own cvs-deb files only by entering
dpkg-buildpackage ?
