Potential bug, but mostly a head's up

I know don't believe the following is a Samba bug (more likely an
initgroups bug or even a RedHat Linux bug), but I have made the following
observation that may help out a confused Samba user.
If I put myself in in 31 or more different groups on the Samba server
and then try to connect from a client, I get the following (long) entry
in the corresponding log file:
[2001/01/05 11:16:47, 0] smbd/password.c:setup_groups(164)

I am running version 2.0.7-4 of Samba under RedHat Linux 6.2. I am
using the 2.2.16 linux kerel. I use the command gpasswd -a to add myself
to groups. If I use gpasswd -d to remove myself from groups and get
below 31, things progress smoothly.
Regards,
MJ
