File copy problem

When copying some files to our samba server we're encountering the following
error:

[2001/03/30 10:18:06, 0] lib/util_sock.c:read_socket_data(477)
  read_socket_data: recv failure for 3258. Error = Connection reset by peer
[2001/03/30 10:18:06, 1] smbd/service.c:close_cnum(583)
  jamesgm-2k (129.191.33.27) closed connection to service jamesgm
[2001/03/30 10:18:11, 1] smbd/service.c:make_connection(550)

Has anyone seen this before?
