problems with multiple samba servers in 1 domain

domain master samba server is 10.2.255.19 (/24 subnet)
The machine PIXO_NET / carbon is 10.2.255.16 (/24 subnet)
THe clients are on 172.16.0.0/18 (255.255.192.0 netmask)
I am 100% sure there isn't a netmask problem or anything like that.
I just tried smbclient -L PIXO_NET -I 10.2.255.16 and it worked. So, I
guess it sounds like a WINS problem..but the thing is, that netbios alias
works when I add it to the alias list for one of my other 2 servers.
I can also access the server via its netbios name, carbon, with no
problems.
I have dhcpd giving out 10.2.255.19 (my domain master) as the WINS server,
not using lmhosts anywhere..
