Joining a Windows 2000 Domain

Hi-

We've had a stay of execution until tommorrow - Friday (opps - today!)-
when a final
decision will be made whether to convert our VERY stable RedHat file
server to Windows 2000 Server.

I've now managed to join the domain! I had to put a different entry in
the host file for the pdc - it has a dual ip address.

But I now can't see the Linux server in Network Neighbourhood on the
pdc, but can in
the Directory. How do I get the Linux server to actually logon to the
Domain
and be seen in Network Neighbourhood? Do I need a user account? So far
the Linux server is registered in the domain, but not accessable by it.
I can't map drives or anything
yet - I get a message saying that a path to the computer cannot be
found.

Win 2000 is running in mixed mode, Linux is running Samba 2.0.7.

I need this info quickly so can any response be mailed direct to me for
speed's sake at:

Thanks

Matt
