The real problem is you want to keep someone from walking up to that machine and
using someone else's access privileges. IIRC, the above mentioned cache is kept
during the entire time each user is logged into that machine.
Do you have NT or win98 clients? If NT, set the users to password protect their
screen savers. This uses the password from their UID, unlike win98 and it's
flaky physical security.
To check which users are connected to your samba, run smbstatus.
