Insuficient files and memory

Hi folks ,
I'm using a client 3.0 for dos from microsoft , to turn off one Novell 
Netware Server.

When I switch to client 3.0 I became have a problem with insuficient 
files , I increase then in my config but it seems don't respect the 
config.

So is the same problem with memory , the novell client uses less 
memory then the microsoft client 3.0 .

Is there anyone that make this work properly.
