  You actually should have asked this question in the samba at samba.org
mailing list: samba-technical is about developing new version of 
Samba.

  However, Samba has supported NT clients since about 1918 (;-))
It's only simulating a PDC that's experimental.  If you wish 
file and print services, with authentication, Samba does it all.
