Problem using SMBCLIENT with Win2K Pro

Hi,

I currently have a setup of a small network, using a central Linux server
(Samba 2.0.6) mounting the Windows PC's shares locally, then performing a
backup (due to the large sizes involved, using 'smbtar' isn't ideal). The
Windows PC's are mostly '98, ME, with two NT Workstation, and 4 Win2kPro
systems.

I use SMBClient to list the shares available on the various PC's around the
office, and see if they have a word in the description ('backup', simple
huh?), to which I then mount the share. This works fine for all but the
Win2K, and NT machines.

The Win2K machiens refuse to give me a listing of the shares available on
them. I figured this is because of the lack of PDC on the network (using
Samba to do most of the funcionality of this now), but I was wondering if
anybody else has seen/experienced this, or whether it is a limitation of the
version of Samba I am using.

	Any help would be appreciated.

Stuart
