SAMBA on Solaris combined with WinNT4 Domain

Hello

I have a problem with connectivity between Samba and NT.

When I do a net view on an NT box like: "net view \\TESTSERVER" the system
asks me for a username and password.

Why is Samba asking for a user and password when on both system the same
user and password exists.

Im using the option EnablePlainTextPassword on WinNT.

After typing the username and password (same as I used to logon on NT) Samba
shows me the share.

The Samba version I installed ist 2.0.6.

Here is my Samba conf file:
----------------------------------------------
[global]
 workgroup = TESTDOMAIN
 netbios name = TESTSERVER
 server string = Main server (UNIX SOLARIS)
 interfaces = 192.168.90.10/255.255.255.0
 hosts equiv = /usr/local/samba/lib/hosts.equiv
 log file = /usr/local/samba/var/log.%m
 name resolve order = host
 time server = Yes
 deadtime = 15
 read prediction = Yes
 load printers = No
 local master = No
 hosts allow = 192.168.90.,192.168.89.,216.132.93.
 case sensitive = Yes
 hide dot files = No
 debug level = 3

[lsf]
 path = /usr/local/lsf
 case sensitive = No
 public = true
 read only = No
 create mask = 0644
--------------------------------------------------

Does anyone have an idea what is wrong, or if samba is not able to manage
that?

Best regards,
Anatol Studler
