Windows reporting of disk quotas

I would like to know if it is possible to have windows NT workstation
clients show the amount of space left on the users disk space quotas
when they go the drive properties.

I have a Redhat linux(6.0) server with quotaed users and have compiled
quota support in to
my copy of samba( I have tried different versions ie 2.0.6, 2.1.0, TNG)
without  getting correct reporting of the quotas.

If it is not possible then what is the quota compile option for?
