Hi All,
   I have little complicated picture which I will try to explain.
   I have net1 with ip address 172.16.100.128 netmask 255.255.255.128 and
   net2 with ip 172.16.100.0 and net3 with ip 172.16.101.0 with mask
   255.255.255.128.
   I have gw1 connecting net1 and net2 with ip 172.16.100.250 and
172.16.100.50 and gw2 connecting net1 and net3 with ip 172.16.100.150 and
 172.16.1001.50 as ip address.
  My gw1 computer is both Domain master and local master +wins server.
  It has global section as
[global]
   workgroup = IMAGING
   netbios name = imgsrv4
   server string = Linux Gateway Server
   printcap name = /etc/printcap
   load printers = yes
   printing = bsd
  guest account = pcguest
    log file = /usr/lib/samba/globallog
   max log size = 5000
   security = share
   password level = 12
   socket options = TCP_NODELAY IPTOS_THROUGHPUT SO_RCVBUF=4096 SO_SNDBUF=4096
   read prediction = yes

   remote browse sync = 172.16.100.150 172.16.101.50 172.16.100.199
   local master = yes
   os level = 255
   domain master = yes
   preferred master = yes
name resolve order = wins lmhosts
   wins support = yes
   dns proxy = no
log level = 2

  My gw2 has the following global section.
[global]
   workgroup = IMAGING
   netbios name = imgsrv2
   printing = bsd
   printcap name = /etc/printcap
   load printers = yes
   printcap name = /etc/printcap

   lpq command = /usr/bin/lpq -P %p
   lprm command = /usr/bin/lprm -P %p %j
   guest account = pcguest
   password level = 10
   security = share
   log file = /usr/lib/samba/globallog
   server string = Samba Server on imgsrv2
   interfaces = 172.16.100.250/25 172.16.101.50/255.255.255.128 172.16.100.128/255.255.255.128  172.16.101.0/255.255.255.128
preferred master = yes
local master = yes
wins support = no
wins server = 172.16.100.250
os level = 65
remote announce =  172.16.101.127/IMAGING
remote announce =  172.16.100.255/IMAGING
remote browse sync = 172.16.100.250 172.16.100.199

socket options = TCP_NODELAY IPTOS_THROUGHPUT SO_RCVBUF=4096 SO_SNDBUF=4096
read prediction = yes

Problem:
    Net1 and Net2 can see the Net3 machines in the windows network
    but can't access them. It is giving error saying computer share
    name can't be found. What could be the reason?
TIA,
Sambaiah Kilaru.
