Tridge,

Quick point, if people start to complain about smbmount command line
parameters keep changing, perhaps a check for how you (the binary) are
named to decide how to parse the command lines (ala
gzip/gunzip/sendmail/mailq/newaliases).

so mount.smb would read for linux's mount call parameters, and smbmount
would accept old style, and they could be a hardlink or softlink.

I, however, don't care about it keep changing, but perhaps people do?
