PAM support and Solaris 2.6

I compiled samba 2.0.5a with --with-pam,  and ldd shows that smbd and nmbd
both have libpam linked in.

But truss logs of incoming smbd and nmbd connections don't even show that
PAM is being accessed.

so.. two questions..

	does SAMBA's PAM support work with Solaris?

	What rules to /etc/pam.conf do i need to add?  I'd rather not have 
		stuff hanging out being caught by the "other" rules.
