smbmount - smbumount

This may be off topic, but I am trying to build an RPM with smbmount and
smbumount. I add the following to the RPM spec file --with-smbmount
--with-smbumount. I then run the command for building the RPM sh makeprms.sh
and when the process gets to the ./configure stage it errors out. If this is
the wrong group to ask this in let me know. Any assistance will be
appreciated.
