Virus Scanner

I've tried the recommended McAfee Virus Scan on a Solaris Samba server 
and it seems to work fine EXCEPT:

It updates the ctime (last status change) on ALL the files it
checks. This is a problem if you are using UNIX dump for backups as
dump looks at the ctime to see if a file needs backing up since the
last lower level dump. (cpio doesn't look at the ctime so that's
fine.)

Hey presto! Whenever you do a virus scan all your incremental dump
backups turn into fulls!

Unless there's some way of making the ctime invisible through the
samba share...
