RPC error on Windows NT4.0 clients

Hi, I'd appreciate any help. I'm getting this odd error when I add in
a new samba share to the existing ones on a machine. The error seems
to affect some of my NT clients, yielding a message "A remote procedure
call (RPC) protocol error occurred." This does not happen to all my NT
clients, nor does it seem to affect smbclient on my other samba server.

The samba server is running 2.0.6 and linux kernel 2.2.12-6 (Redhat 6.0).
The NT clients that have failed are all NT4.0, ranging from SP4, SP5
and SP6.  The NT clients have have successfully connected are similar;
I don't see anything that distinguishes between them. The NT clients
that fail also fail consistently. There's nothing off and on about the
failure: if I take out the new entry, it's OK, and if I put it back in,
the same clients that failed before will fail again. The smbclient that
was able to connect is from a 2.0.0 samba on a Solaris 2.6 sparc box.

The logs are unremarkable:

Here's the output of testparm. The newly added share that caused some
of my clients to fail is the [CVS] one.
