Hallo,

I must install a separatly printerserver for our PCs, a sun with solaris 2.5.
The Win95/98-PCs connect the server with samba (1.9.18p10). The server shall
not ask for a password if somewhere connect the printservices. But the server
allways ask for passwords, not only at the first time. This Problem is only for
win95, win98 works ok.

Here my smb.conf:

[global]

   printing = sysv
   printcap name = /usr/local/samba/lib/smbprintcap
   load printers = yes
   security = user
   guest account = nobody
   debug level = 1
; This next option sets a separate log file for each client. Remove
; it if you want a combined log file.
   log file = /var/adm/samba/log.%m
   lock directory = /opt/samba/var/lock
   auto services = kurt karl knut kuno kai_1 klaus dj
   workgroup = myworkgroup
  wins server = mywins
   domain master =  no
   local master = yes
   preferred master = yes
   os level =  33
   netbios name = leda
   character set = iso8859-1
   message command = /bin/mail -s 'messages from %f on %m' sellin < %s; rm %s

[printers]
   comment = All Printers
   browseable = no
   printable = yes
   guest ok = yes
   public = yes
   writable = no
   create mode = 0700
   path = /tmp

Thanks

Monika
