nmbd not responding?

Hello!

My Samba (1.9.18p7) server does not appear in the "network neighborhood"
window at the clients. The clients can connect by manually specifying the
share name, tough. Also, when trying "nmblookup xxx", where xxx is a
valid netbios name (even included in the lmhosts file), it appears like
that name does not exist. smbclient does not find my clients either.

Here is my [global] section in smb.conf :

   socket options= TCP_NODELAY IPTOS_LOWDELAY SO_SNDBUF=16384 SO_RCVBUF=16384
   readsize = 16384
   read prediction = true
   workgroup = INFORMATICA
   netbios name = MP-DBS
   interfaces=192.168.1.3/255.255.255.0 192.9.200.3/255.255.255.0
   wins support = true
   time server = true
   name resolve order = host wins bcast lmhosts
   domain master = yes
   preferred master = yes
   domain logons = yes
   printing = bsd
   printcap name = /etc/printcap
   load printers = yes
   guest account = samba
   security = USER
   password level = 2

i run nmbd with a line like this:

  nmbd -D -H /usr/local/samba/lib/lmhosts

What am I doing wrong?

Thanks in advance for your help.

Best regards,

Victor M. Carranza G.
