about Samba and NT

Samba/Linux 2.0.32/33 and NT 4.0 (without and with SP3) work fine for me. Some 
pitfalls:

1) Did you start the nmbd Daemon on the Linux Box?
2) Do you use an ISA Ethernet Card on you NT Box? If yes: Forget it (probably). 
I had hangers all the time while accessing the network drive until I switched 
to a PCI card (maybe just the P5/90 was to slow with the ISA card and NT 4).
