Libmsrpc dropped - whats my options

Hello list,

I want to use libmsrpc to do a simple task. Enumerate the users on a  
computer from my little C++ program.
Now I noticed that the latest code drops support for libmsrpc due to  
lack of a maintainer.

So my questions is: How can I easily enumerate users on a computer  
without using libmsrpc in my code?
Any suggestions are welcomed!
