Karolin,

I've gone through and created a set of proposed patches
that will bring the v3-2- -test and -stable trees back in
line with each other. At http://www.samba.org/~jerry/v3-2-patches

You'll find two directories: "merge" and "revert". Apply the
revert patchset to v3-2-test and the merge patchset to v3-2-stable
gets us within a "make idl" of being inline I believe.

But I'm only doing this to help everyone see the commit
differences between branches which is why I did not
commit anything. It could very well be that I incorrectly
put things in one category or the other. But at least
there is a list that everyone can use to start the review.

There's a tarball in the same directory to download all the
patches to make things easier.

Once we make it through this, the release process should
be easier to stabilize now that the main v3 development
is ongoing in the v3-2-test branch.

Hope this helps you out some.

cheers, jerry
