Cannot read from the source file or disk

Hi,
    When I try to copy a file folder containing files or just a file by
itself from Linux to Windows I get: Cannot copy file: Cannot read from
the source file or disk. But if I select the folder above it and then go
back in its fine. I get the same error if I do a refresh. Does any1 know
why?

Have you found a solution for this issue?  I'm trying to back up my files from D: drive to DVD or CD and recieve the Cannot copy...Cannot read source erroe message and think the solution may be the same.
