Samba caching directory handles? (Writes to incorrect home dir)

I'm pretty sure Win9X doesn't do connection cacheing like this,
basically because it doesn't have the internal infrastructure to logon
as two different users at once. Someone please correct me if they have
evidence to the contrary.
