OK... How about this?

Map 100 NT usernames to one Unix username - say, projects1
Map the next 100 NT users to projects2
BUT: Give projects1 and projects2 the same Unix UID.

This should mean all the NT users have equivalent UIDs for Unix purposes,
I think?
