estimating nightly diffs

*       Any suggestions on how to estimate how much data rsync would
synchronize on average in a given installation? 

 

Try recording the stats at the end for a few days and see what the
results are.   If you really want to get a better idea import the data
into a spreadsheet / keep a running average..
