unfortunately unison does not seem to make an exact mirror
(hardlinks etc) and also needs to be able to access source and
dest at the same time.

And I am really frightened about the language unison has been written
in :-) ocaml or haskell, I forgot.

Pls read also the other reply where the batch mode has been mentioned.

It seems, I am close to my goal...
